About the author:
As a mature student,
John Moore obtained a general science degree from University
College Cork, Ireland, in 1995 and a year later studied at
higher diploma level in applied physics.
He has worked as a free-lance science and
astronomy writer for several years, and has been published in the paper media, such as,
Nature, The Irish Times, Physics World, Science Spin,
Technology Ireland, Astronomy Now, Astronomy & Space, PC
Answers, History Ireland, Shortwave Magazine...and many
others.
The author thus has experience in researching every
aspect of science and astronomy, interviewing of
scientists, and follow-up techniques. Additionally so,
John has experience in book reviewing, proof-reading,
web-design, and use of several softwares applicable to
text and imaged-based requirements. He remains continually optimistic
about obtaining part time or full-time work associated
in the areas above.
Presently, he maintains this website about the Moon
– unpaid and all done on a shoestring – and welcomes any
support in the form of sponsorship, advertising,
donation, or a
mention now and then on interesting websites & blogs.
If you are looking for help or
assistance with any form of research, the author is
available.
